      Great place to build a career and establish supportive professional network

      Pros

      Room for personal growth, specialty development and information sharing. Motivated by coworkers and their ideas. Flexibility to work on a variety of projects.

      Cons

      I don't see many negatives working with Booz Allen. Sometimes you may get on a project you don't particularly like or you might be on a team that doesn't suit you. You can transfer internally to find something that works better for you and the firm.

      Pros

      Booz Allen Hamilton is an excellent government and technology consulting firm. The firm is growing and will continue to hire through the next couple of years.

      Cons

      There are too many individuals allowed to perform at mediocre levels. The company will promote until until the Level III position, even if the employee is not meeting all the required competencies.

      It's a big company, with big company perks, but a small company feel. Lots of training and support for interns.

      Cons

      Work days can be long and you can sometimes feel constrained because of the nature of the work and your limited role.
