Your experience at Booz Allen is largely in your hands. Because of the size of the firm and it's structure, there are ample opportunities to learn new things, meet new people, and develop professional skills. The people at Booz Allen are smart, motivated, and legitimately interested in the firm's mission and it's values. The emphasis on the firm's values is real and promotes a great environment to work in.

Cons

There is a large subculture of overwork, and some managers may expect staff to mimic their hours. Crutch-like dependence on slide decks for almost every form of written communication.

Work-life balance, flexibilitiy, the opportunity to learn new things and work with a variety of people

Cons

Sometimes there is a lack of communication because the company is so big. Especially for new hires, I think the amount of information about our company and how things are done can be overwhelming.
