      Pros

      Diverse demographic of employees. Strong social communittee. Challenging work environment that drives motivation and dedication to the job. Collegues are, for the most part, supportive.

      Cons

      Expect to put in long days, without compensation. Booz Allen salary is not as high as competitors, especially for young professionals. For the amount of work you do, the salary does not give you incentive to continue working past normal business hours, and on the weekend for very long.

      Pros

      Great at developing employees.. they give you specifics of how the level above you should operate and once you hit it you are promoted. Excellent name in the DC area. Teach you to respect everyone. $5k tuition reimbursement. Very few rules for a large company. I saw a lot of money wasted but the company was open enough that good projects were still able to bubble to the top.

      Cons

      Very top down. If your manager doesn't like you, you are screwed. As a software engineer I had a lot of issues building software because management only knows business. The worse were MBA managers who landed a contract and then thought they were qualified to manage the execution. If you are a CS major the work was extremely boring... just SharePoint and websites. It's all about connections and who you know.

      Quality of life is excellent Flexible work hours - if the client is willing Good benefits package Great 401k - 10% of your salary without any matching from you Interesting work for the government Leadership really does try to uphold core values Collegial environment
