      Pros

      On my second career after retireing from a federal gov. position. Salary, compesation packages, and options better then average. 401K contribution from employer, after first year, usally at approximately 10% of salary.

      Cons

      Demands on time could, if allowed, could become excessive. No clear cut carreer path for technical types. Like all othes, job one is to grow the business.
