      Booz Allen is a great company to start out with

      Pros

      Everyone is nice at Booz. The training, benefits, and the salary are all decent compared to other firms. Most important, Booz does a good job making its clients happy.

      Cons

      The 360 degree review process makes the company seem like a Socialist Country. Everyone says nice things about everyone so that they get promoted, so the ones that get promoted aren't doing they're job and critiquing employees that need a good critique for fear of retribution come assessment time. This socialist problem is hollowing out the normally sturdy foundation that the company stands on. Additionally, pay should be much more comparable to other similar firms.

      Very good work life balance, Good salary, Available ongoing training, Good autonomy in the ability to conduct your job, Supportive direct management

      Cons

      The training that is available is not as extensive or effective as other consulting firms doing a similar amount of work with a similar profit margin to Booz Allen, public sector consulting retains too much reliance of the job titles that firm-members brought over from the public sector.
