- nobody’s watching out for you, you’re responsible to find a project/contract and if you don’t you get cut off. Very little guidance or help with anything. Feels like you have to constantly fight to find a job once you’ve already been hired. - career advancement is challenged and limited, unless you have a team that truly allows you to grow you’re stuck in the same role . If you keep moving between projects, it’s almost impossible to get a promotion. - in connection with the above point, if you’re in a job function/role that has you switching between multiple projects it is almost impossible to get a raise or any sort of promotion - company culture sucks and is barely existent. Very cliquey and difficult to do anything unless you’re willing to schmooze - you really feel like an employee number rather than a person, there is almost no personal touch or connection and it feels like they don’t care about you at all

Micromanaging job leaders & a name that everyone knows because of Snowden. A community of many fake expert consultants, clawing their way to jump over the next person on the career ladder. There are some good hearted talented people here, but they are being tread on. I worked within the CTO.
