Management team? More like Mismanagement team

Pros

- The Europe team have a Work Council - Lots of leave options (you're going to need them)

Cons

In my opinion: - the most arrogant, self-absorbed, autocratic Management team I have ever worked with. They do not care what anyone below them has to say; all that matters is that people do what they are told and don't make the Management team look bad. They make promises over and over again, and break them just as much. - Blame culture and fear is pervasive and so change or risk-taking is avoided for fear of retribution. - No pay rises in over two years, despite the above-and-beyond job description work to facilitate a global, digital transformation. Pay rises are only given to a select few who are part of the inner-political circle. Whilst salary bands are transparent, the Management team packages are not and one can only guess the excessive salaries and short/long-term incentives they are paid, not to mention the Management team has grown in number significantly over the last year to the point where there is more than at a normal company. - Part of the reason we are told there are no pay-rises is that the company have no idea who the high performers are due to the Management team not doing performance reviews in this time. So basically because they didn't care to know, despite record global inflation, we now are told we need to wait ANOTHER YEAR before pay rises can be "awarded". - Management team don't really seem to care about the mission, and instead seem to see it as a way of manipulating hard work out of their employees with a "burn and churn" strategy. Seems they care more about getting their photos taken with global business and political leaders to bolster their public profiles. Their alignment with business-interests and capitalism is clear, which just makes this job often feel like greenwashing. - And now, after everything, they're going to lay-off 20% of their global team. There's no gratitude, no reward, only self-indulgence and discarding of those that did the work.
