      I never had to worry about my check bouncing.

      As a part of management, you are expected to succeed with limited resources. All the answers are made available to you, but since you do all the work, there is no time for anything else but the work. Unless you give up your family time on top of holidays and weekends.

      very strict environment, no casual dress, all desks need to look the same(one family picture per desk) no sticky notes on computer

      You have flexibility in work hours due to no managerial control and lack of accountability

      Cons

      Austerity measures in full effect for years. Not enough workers in operations for any flexibility in throughput. Sales department will promise the world for business without plan to implement effectively leading to loss of most new business within a year or two. Good Ol boy promotion system in effect for promotion and raises.
