Pros

Unfortunately, I can't highlight any positives about this company.

Cons

I was hired and let go after just 9 days, despite being told my role would take months to learn. Initially promised an opportunity to learn and adapt, I quickly realized this wasn't the case. After my second day, I received no support in my training. My assigned trainer and coworker, for reasons unknown, clearly disliked me and this sentiment was apparent in their behavior. The trainer would assign tasks meant for my learning, yet these tasks often involved incorrect processes, contributing to frequent mixed signals and confusion. This pattern made it clear that I was being set up for failure from the start. Additionally, the trainer resorted to indirect verbal putdowns, which left me without motivation or support—key elements needed for any new hire, especially one undertaking a complex role. The training experience was nothing short of disastrous. Unfortunately, my supervisor seemed influenced by my trainer’s opinions from the beginning. This led to a display of favoritism and bias I had never before witnessed in a professional setting. Ultimately, the workplace environment, marked by corruption and a lack of fairness, was unsustainable for my career growth. My supervisor provided an excuse stating that I was not experienced enough and had 'misrepresented' my skills. This was cited as the reason for my termination after my first assignment, despite the extremely poor and inadequate training I received—by far the worst in my professional experience. My supervisor even admitted that the fault lay in the hiring process, which I find highly disagreeable. The real misrepresentation was about the support and training promised during my interview, assurances made by my supervisor themselves. Additionally, the emphasized importance of trust, also voiced by my supervisor, was absent from the beginning. I wasn't given a fair opportunity; almost two weeks after being let go, I received 401k, benefits, and even a new hire letter—proof that I didn't receive the support or chance to succeed in my role. When I went to collect my second but last check, my supervisor mocked me, making a joking comment about financial tightness and laughed, suggesting the hardship of unemployment. This behavior is unbecoming of someone who is supposed to exemplify leadership and represent HR, a department employees rely on for safety and support. This incident stands as a poor demonstration of leadership and HR standards.
