Great company ruined by poor middle management
Pros
Company wide policies are employee friendly. Especially during the pandemic there were multiple employee friendly initiatives like monthly recharge days, covid resources, company arranged vaccinations. Even after 2 years none of us is forced to come to office. Company also gave additional cash allowance during covid.
Cons
Poor middle management. No matter who works hardest or gets most results. Managers have already decided who is going to get promotion for next 5 years. If you are not licking your manager's *** forget double digit hikes. On top of that, technology stack is outdated in most of the projects. There is a saying at each job "you should either earn or learn". Here you will be doing neither unless you land up in one of the few premium projects. Immediate managers are not interested in your growth and are too timid to take your issues to higher management. Unless you are absolutely crazy about EDA or manage to get a great offer (which is possible as attrition rate is very high) or have a skill to be able to lick manager's boots, the place is not for you.
