      Pros

      colleagues are very friendly, and free lunch once a week.

      Cons

      There is no training, and the manager can be very aggresive if you can't finish the task in time. The bonus is not gurantted, the manager can give 0 bonus even you work hard and tell you the bonus is not guranteed. also as far as I know, no one get salary increasement in first year. Underpaid. As to work life balance, the manager asked to come everyday even the company policy let you work from home 2 days a week. If you work from home, the manager will ask you why. There is no hope of promotion or salary increase. The salary will become less and less competitive because the technology stack is very poor and it is difficult to change jobs.

      It was a job. It had a salary. It was OK.

      Cons

      I had to sell management on securing our external portals, such as public web sites & API servers. Some people in management were OK with "security through obscurity." Yuck.

      This company hypes up work life balance like No other, but trust me it has the worst work life balance. I have seen messages being sent well after midnight by senior people. is this how you all achieve work life balance. please throw your Great Place to work tag in the bin cause the pressure is high and flexible work is a dangling carrot to make you work 12+ hours a day.
