      Excellent place to work, of course with some cons

      Pros

      Excellent environment, reasonably good salary, higher levels have probably better compensation, challenging work, very driven senior management in our BU.

      Cons

      Too much cross geo politics and dependencies. control is in US, even though teams and mgt is very capable and can do much more. Compensation at lower level is not good.

      Pros

      Good Pay, that is about it. Work-life balance used to be good, but less and less as more people get cut and you have to cover their job as well.

      Cons

      Live from quarter to quarter wondering if you are going to be laid off. New IT management team is just cutting people to save money, with no view towards maintaining customer sat or infrastructure.

      Pros

      Cadence is a good company with above average salary packages. The environment overall allows for constant learning and the ability to work on new things. The executives seem to be on the same page and driven towards a common goal.

      Cons

      Due to many years of downsizing there is not much work life balance if you are in HR or finance. If you are not a self starter you will be left behind and not last long. Once you make it to Sr, Director its very hard to advance.
