      Pros

      Solid company Good culture CEO has good values and demonstrates them by example

      Cons

      A lot of layers of management and middle management. A bit fat in terms of operation, but the company can afford it. Seems to be a bit disorganized due to the large size of the company.

      Interesting Work, not so interesting environment

      Pros

      Much of the work is challenging and state of the art. Some very talented people in the trenches doing the heavy lifting.

      Cons

      Cadence is very top down with little empowerment of employees. Even minor decisions get pushed up and there is very little risk taking. Decisions involve endless meetings and lots of second guessing. Little or no loyalty to long term employees. Lots of formal communication downwards, very limited informal communication up and down.
