Pros
The people are very smart and very open, which provides a great consensus building environment. This is great for broadening your own knowledge and developing your skills.
Cons
The big reason to work at somewhere like Capital One is work life balance. Take the lower salary and avoid all the pain Wall St hours. It's not like that at Capital One. They work you to exhaustion and undercompensate you. That might work OK if they looked after their staff, but they tend to treat you like a possession and pay no mind to your own career preferences.
