Pros

Good starting pay and you start off with 120 hours of vacation. Job very heavy on social skills and team work. You are also scheduled to only work half the month so more days off. Also get decent benefits. Job also can be pretty laid back when everything is running properly.

Cons

Job is rotating shift on a monthly basis. You are also on a on call rotation. 12.5 hour shifts which can be exhausting. Unpredictable situations can happen like chemical leaks and equipment breaking down. You also have to take many tests in order to keep your job. These tests can often be challenging. Work life balance can also be very difficult due to constant schedule rotation and long shift hours. During the summer the plant can get very hot and even reach temperatures of 130 degrees or more. Also no lunch breaks or breaks at all. So you eat whenever there is free time.
