Pros

Cargill has a lot of heart, including a company culture of warmth, belonging, spirit of service and ethics. You feel that you are part of a community that has embraced you. Within that circle of support you can have as much challenge and freedom to act as you want.

Cons

Cargill's strengths are also its weaknesses at times. You are either "in" or "out", and the strong ties that make up the company culture also create a set of unwritten rules and an informal network of information that can be hard to decipher. You can have all the challenge you want, but make very sure you deliver exceptional results.

Pros

High pay and good opportunity to move up within the company. As long as you take care of yourself and your area then nobody can really say anything to you.

Cons

Bad locations. There are a tremendous amount of micro-managers in the facility. Very old school management style. Very little work life balance. They give you vacation days because your going to really need them when you fall over from being exhausted.
