      Respected, fiscally responsible, well run, global, diversified, stable, decent vacation allotment, uses size to its advantage, excellent CEO working to make change

      Cons

      Too process oriented, lack of innovation, lower than market pay, good ol' boys club, extremely political, middle management all uninspiring cookie cutter white male clones more interested in his career than what is best for Cargill, advancement based on who you know instead of what you know, innovation not rewarded if done out of turn, punishment for having good ideas, conforming rewarded over ideation

      Pros

      Big company and interesting market position, dominant in food and commodities.

      Cons

      Hugely arrogant and treats people like commodities. The turnover and restructuring has been going on for years and the company has stripped out it's experienced managers. The Cargill of old has gone. They now aspire to be like every other multinational. I left and was treated unnecessarily badly

      Pros

      Solid company with good culture. Employees are treated with respect. Good salary and benefit package. Global company, with opportunities to work abroad if desired.

      Cons

      Very large company, so they're slow to react. Although the company has many different businesses within, moving from one to another doesn't seem to be supported, so opportunities are limited. Their IT area is a mess, with restructuring and massive layoffs in the past few years. Seems there is no end in sight.
