Sinister Presence

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Strong character amongst technician workforce

Cons

Sinister presence from top leadership that was asked to rebuild and startup the plant. Leadership wanted staff to make promises, and allowed them to work 14 eighty hour weeks in a row. Budgets were moved around to hide problems. Leadership gave sinister looks to people who put family first, then smiled and said “our culture is so awesome”. Top leadership at Cargill is no longer married, and they no longer have children. They are not sustainable, and they will do whatever they can to explain away a post like this. My friends worked at Cargill, and I watched them lose the things that should have been most important to them.

Pros

good pay, good benefits, decent coworkers (for the most part)

Cons

the higher ups will treat you like trash until you feel you have no choice but to quit. it’s been that way for years and will probably never ever change.

Pros

-Great exposures to different types of Corp Finance and accounting. As well as other specialties like Risk, Tax, Decision Support, Ect. -Opportunity for long term career since they invest so much on you during your Rotation program. -Support from both your supervisor and the program coordinator -Career and technical development trainings given on a monthly basis -Get to interact with your cohort and build great future relations. -Will relocate you and pay for all moving expenses. Even pay for a trip to come and hunt for apartments before moving.

Cons

-Compensation is a bit lower than industry standards -Some rotations are not as competitive as others so sometimes you are stuck doing more grunt work -New program, only 4 years old, so alot of kinks still being worked out. -IDK if a con but main locations are either in Minneapolis or in Wichita. Except for one year which you spend it in one of the plants locations usually in midwest.
