      Pros

      Over the past few years, they have really tried to overhaul the business with a new CEO and management team.

      Cons

      Very little interaction between different publications within the business. Even after two years, I didn't recognise many other people on my floor. The pay simply wasn't competitive (although this may have changed now), and the performance review system was painful and bureaucratic.

      Constantly changing

      Pros

      Every year they change their direction and strategy. The basics are low and the commission used to be generous but it feels like they are constantly finding ways to stop you getting it. They hired a new sales director in 2020 who has a very old school mentality. They have issues with diversity and promote people who don’t know the products, processes or people. It’s weird but there are lots of opportunities to learn if you are smart about it. There are some brilliant people there and so much opportunity to improve things. The office is wonderful. It’s the biggest we works in Europe with free premium coffee and free booze in the evening. Covid has restricted this but it’s still available.

      Cons

      Lack of diversity, the CEO goes to sales meetings and tells sales people how to sell even though he is an accountant not a sales person. It’s very white male dominated and the only women who get promoted are attractive and not necessarily capable.

      There's a tap which dispenses hot water

      Cons

      Absolutely everything. The office is a disgrace, the toilets are a disgrace, the kitchen facilities are a disgrace. The lifts never work. The areas outside the toilets actually stink of urine and faeces.
