Pros

nice co workers food and drink is free discounts

Cons

not paid extra to be a trainer expected to do 10x as much work as you already do promotion takes forever training is 1 day or less management doesn't care about you Management is lazy schedule is crazy even if you have school constant call outs put more work on you grill/prep need help! it's a lot of work especially if people before you do a bad job, it all falls on you if they don't prep you have no food! if they don't wash you have no dishes to serve your food! prep ends up with a lot of work , dishes or food I once had no one on prep so I had to work my cashier shift till close @ 10:30pm then close prep (dishes from all the shifts) till 2:30am with help from 1 manager.

Pros

Great pay, all the locations I worked at were always higher than minimum wage. If you are in college do the tuition reimbursement it is a great offer

Cons

Can be stressful and busy, managers will be stressed and it can feel like they are taking it out on the workers

Horrible

Pros

Tuition Reimbursement, Some good co-workers

Cons

Had an absolutely horrible experience working for Chipotle. Started there with more than four years of management experience and was hired on with the opportunity for promotion. I am a full-time college student and requested no more than 30 hours a week, which usually meant 45-50. I made 10.30 an hour to run the grill by myself. They would make me do this 5-6 nights a week and refused to let me take a break. They told me that "since you're the only one who knows how to run grill, you can't go on break or we'll run out of food". Constantly refused breaks for 9+ hour shifts of working like a dog, god awful, abusive management. There were days where I would work 9am to 12:30am and have to come back in at 7am the next day. They would sometimes schedule me 10 days in a row. On my one off day a week I would receive at least a dozen calls begging me to come in because they were short handed, and then get reprimanded when I stopped answering. Would not recommend to anyone who values their mental physical health.
