Pros

Great Benefits...The health insurance is some of the best available in food service.

Cons

Training is sub-par and there is no real support from leadership. They may help you rebound a bad shift because their bosses are watching cameras, but there is no REAL support or focus on growth. I've never seen a brand so, utterly incapable of keeping GMs, due to lack of training and legitimate support. They'd rather fire the ones willing to tough out the literal dumpster fires they are handed, than address the real issues at hand. Meanwhile, every new-hire GM washes out in days to weeks on their own, as most of them were basically used as prep/line people to hide labor for "high performing" training locations. Stay away if you are seeking employment in the Memphis area. I loved this brand as a whole. I believed in our vision and purpose. Given the whole picture of the brand, and having worked in other parts of the country for another concept, I would recommend Chipotle to anyone outside of this market in particular.

Pros

Free employee meals, that’s really it, lol.

Cons

Pay is too low compared to other food services and labor cuts are ridiculous. I’ve worked in two different stores. Look at how the CEO gets all the millions based off his net worth we help him make, while we suffer and he lies on the viral “portions” video he made. Policies made by him and people in corporate just having a degree to make decisions, whom haven’t worked a day in their lives in food service more than likely based on how they operate. I’m trying to find another job, but Chipotle is a greedy company in itself and I’m sick of how selfish they are. I’d look otherwise if you want a better opportunity for yourself for a side gig or for a long term role in the food service industry.

Pros

-Customers were decent, but that's always a coin-flip. -Okay benefits if you stay -Tips (only evening/night shifts)

Cons

-Used to get free food on shift, but now you have to work full-time or at least 6 hours. Food must be eaten in store and you cannot take it home. Additionally, you have to pay, but at least a 50% discount. -Micromanagement is key here. You will get bossed around, not only by your manager, but by people who think they have "seniority." -Managers have favorites and if you are not one they will force you to quit. ------> Favorites got a promotion much faster, like how a person joined 3 weeks again and was already in training to be Kitchen Manager. He was also started at $14.50 without any prior experience. He did the same job as me too and my pay, along with previous experience was only $13.35. -Depends on location, but our crew had smokers and drinkers. Yes, they smoked and drank on shift, morning, night, and afternoon. -I had previous work experience here (~1 year) and was promised to start at $13.85, but only went from my previous wage of $13.15 to $13.35. Asked management constantly what was going on, but all they said was that they were "working on it." For 3 months ...
