Pros

Good company to work for a few years. Promote from within is a great way to run a company.

Cons

After your 1st few years, you are disposed because you make too much money and have too many benefits. There is a 10 year sabbatical that you will never get because they will fire you before you make it to 10 years or after you make it to 10 years and take the time off, they fire you when you get back and then you have to repay the time you just had off. Managers promote and demote at will. So promotions from within don't work if you don't make it in the new position. Lots of sink-r-swim promotes.

Pros

Good food. Free meal. 50% off of other meals when not working. Cheap benefits. free t-shirt.

Cons

Fast paced environment. Large workload for near minimum wage. compensation was bellow average for duties required, basically no real training, walked in on first day and immediately placed on the line. burns, cuts and bruises to be expected everything must be done "the Chipotle" way messed up hours, even if you have for example 25 hours they will give you 5 days a week instead of 3 days. everything has to be done fast, on my first week, my breaks were within an hour of me walking in. So much cleaning and in unreasonable order. urge to walk-out daily. If you are not used to working in the food, then my recommendation is to place low amount of hours then from there you can move up. I did the opposite and nearly walked out on my first day.
