Pros

- Open Door policy. Management is approachable. - Benefits are OK. Not great. Just OK. - No dress code. - Peers are helpful - Technology training provided is wonderful. Especially in Java technology. - Many fun activities are arranged by HR and CSR.

Cons

- Work life balance for some projects is very bad. Employees are made to long hours. I had worked for an average of about 12 hrs/day, for about 2 months on one of the most ambitious and critical project for a very important client. I was called to work even on Saturdays and Sundays. When I refused to come on work on one Saturday, my Delivery lead tried to intimidate me by saying that it will affect my appraisals. So, although unwilling, I was requested to work even when I was sick, but I wasn't able to. I came to work on many Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and even on Independence day(Oh! The irony). - The hard work you are made to do is not reflected in the appraisals. Even after working very very hard, putting countless extra hours, working for stupidly odd hours, doing very high quality of work, I was given an increment which was undoubtedly the average increment. Some of friends, being in a very relaxed projects, worked for about 6-7 hrs/day, were also given the same increment. When I raised my dissatisfaction with the HR, the HR said that with your years of experience, you lie in a particular band, and could not be given an increment outside that band. It implies, that no matter how hard you work, you will never get any returns above a certain figure, until and unless you have more than a particular years of experience. When asked about this to my Delivery lead, he told that all the appraisals related matters are handled by the HR. The Delivery lead is there only to give you a rating, which in my case was much much above the average. - The overall talent pool is not much bright. I worked with a variety of people, but very few of them were technically or logically sound. My team had a lot of experienced people, almost all of them more experienced than me. But many a times, I found that I knew a lot of things much better than them. In fact, many of them didn't even knew the basics of OOP. I have seen code written by me in my 2nd year of college, which was better than a code written by a Senior Software Engineer with more than 4 years of experience in industry. If you are a new graduate from a reputed college joining CitiusTech, don't expect much knowledge gain from your peers. In fact, you can teach them a thing or two. Majority of the senior "technical" management also falls in this category. Of course, there are a few exceptions to this, like the TLO group. - Resource and skill allocations is pathetic. I've seen people with C/C++ background asked to work on HTML and CSS. The skills of employees are poorly mapped to the requirements of the projects. I've also been asked to work on something which was remotely related to my skills, even though there were employees with no project allocated and had a good background in the aforementioned work. Developers are often asked to do Sys Admin work; probably because there is no distinction between Dev and Sys Admin. - Benefits are OK. Not great. Just OK. Better than TCS, Infosys and big service oriented firms. Earlier, the increment was pretty good, but it has been going south ever since. Earlier, people were awarded handsomely for their hard work and efforts. But ever since 2014, this picture has changed drastically, whatever the reasons might be. - Some people can climb up the ladder by buttering the seniors and not doing much work. I've seen people with no technical expertise, no knowledge about the project being sent onsite, just because he was with very good terms with the Delivery Lead. And people with very good skills, who have been working on the project for a longer time, and has much knowledge about it are given less preference, jus because they didn't butter up the DL, didn't marked him in each and every email, didn't agree on all of his inputs.

Pros

Management does care about your career and has an open ear to any problems. Good place for those specializing in .NET. They are growing fast and therefore are looking for lots of employees and have a relatively easy interview process.

Cons

They do whatever the client gives them. So depending on your project you might be stuck with some boring work
