The lead time of a new product is very long and innovation sometimes gets stuck. Sales are easy to make but sometimes implementation take a while and your focus as a Sales Representative gets blurred while pushing things to move forward.

Process is broken in regards to hierarchy and chain of command. A director from completely different cost center can dictate what your entirely separate department can or can't do. Also, company culture is old school in sense that upper management gives off the "you should feel lucky you even have a job here" whereas company cultures are shifting to appreciating and putting the employee first.
