Pros

It is a big company with years of experience in telecommunications. It owns most of the telecommunications infrastructure in Puerto Rico. It manages wireless and wireline as well as television services, so you get the opportunity of acquiring experience in more than one field.

Cons

It does not have a retirement plan for its employees. Employee trainings are almost non existing. Entry level trainings are mostly for call center and technical employees. Growth and rotation within the company is very limited.

Pros

Great benefits, 401k matching and great insurance.

Cons

Process is broken in regards to hierarchy and chain of command. A director from completely different cost center can dictate what your entirely separate department can or can't do. Also, company culture is old school in sense that upper management gives off the "you should feel lucky you even have a job here" whereas company cultures are shifting to appreciating and putting the employee first.
