Pros

Good group of dedicated people working together. Great CEO!

Cons

The HR team lacks a cohesive voice, the interview process took quit long and was unorganized. Now that I am inside the organization I see that the HR team has no real leader or management. ClassPass can be a bit clicky and unwelcoming especially in the New York office.

Pros

Our mission is to get people to work out and lead inspired lives - it doesn't get much better than that! Strong executive team - very strategic and fixed the old, broken business model Fast paced - especially with expansion in the US and internationally, and new projects like video, audio and wellness Lots of opportunities for career growth and new challenges - management moves its best performers into roles even if they don't have prior experience in that domain

Cons

Weak junior managers Lots of changes so really for 'startup' people vs. people looking for stability Not great work life balance - the most successful people at the company work really hard

Pros

Free ClassPass subscription, flexible schedule

Cons

The culture is definitely in a declining state and despite upper management being aware of the issues, little solutions are being identified or implemented to improve. The C level mgmt is very quick to make personal judgments on employees and it's very difficult to recover if that C-level doesn't like you. I've had to continually defend team members or myself to upper management because one interaction with a particular exec didn't go as well. It's incredibly difficult to overcome any subpar first-impression. The team also micromanages a ton with little room to challenge or negotiate. Despite the fact that one of the company principles is to challenge - it's looked down upon if you don't just go along with the recommendation. The negative petty culture is very difficult which is a shame because the company mission and products are great.
