the company has below the average salaries and compensation package, it does not invest in developing it´s employees, it rarely gives employees oportunities to be promoted, the ERP and other IT systems are a complete mess jeopardizing many areas' work, so information is a big problem there and without reliable information it is hard to manage a company. The middle management is blamed for this problem, as if they were incompetent. It´s obssession with efficiency might have gone too far and destroyed the quality of the service, consequently also damaging the brand. Many strategic and critical decision are taken without considering qualitative and critical issues. Another big problem is tha there is to many high level paying positions, such as directors, and very few hands-on low levels employees. Once I got in a meeting with 4 people, they all gave many ideas of what to do, and in the end I was the only one responsible to do it all, while all of them were only responsible for making new ideas...there is a saying that in life things are 1% inspiration and 99% transpiration, etc.
