Issue with filing GC-PERM

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Better than other Indian companies in terms of work culture

Cons

If you come from offshore and stay for 1 year you can apply for GC under EB1 even if you are not international manager back in offshore as looks like noone checks the credentials. However, if you join onsite you are screwed as they have stopped GC processing under the name "PERM Redesigning process" as most of PERM filed in 2012 and 2013 got rejected (Look for DOL site where you will find rejection numbers approx 10 times more than any other company in the list next to CTS) You will not get updates from GIT on restarting PERM filing or any point of contact to reach. The exception approval from top-most in your division also does not work. You are just killing your career if you join onsite... I hope if this review is published like others already published will give you clear idea on what not do...

Worst Graduate program

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

I really cannot think of anything.

Cons

They are just solely hiring to meet the local quota so that they can bring in more people from other countries. No AWS ( claims that AWS is added to our pay). Poor compensation - Bonus is terrible for industry standards. They cut cost by limiting paper cups in the office (absurd) No intention to train and help graduates. Conflict between existing culture and the Grads as those on EP assume that grads are going steal their jobs. Only talk from senior management that they are committed to grooming talent locally. No projects as graduates can spend up to 6-9 months on the bench waiting for something. Says that their competitors are Accenture, big 4 but nowhere near to that standard in terms of compensation and learning oppurtunities.

Pros

none. No benefits and fake Company values.

Cons

Cognizant has demoted people from their positions of mentors, got with a regular process in the past, without any formal written communication but just with an oral one. I think that'is illegal. Employees are very disappointed and pretty angry here and are leaving the Company because they are frustrated. Targets suddenly have been increased of 10% without a bonus review and a proper communication. Moreover Top Performers in spite their recorded excellent work, engagement and interviews, are not progressing, while people not so talented that are just good friends of the important people are getting this kind of fake open positions. Top performers seem unrealistically to be punished for their good performance because are useful just for productivity purposes. Open positions are just fake. The Management is demotivating people and the metric of Quality even if apparently good, is fake and is not really in compliance with the Policy. Qcers in fact were asked from the Management a few months ago to not put many errors and to be very flexible in order to meet the SLA. The position of Qcer too then has become senseless and frustrating. Please investigate as soon as possible. GOOGLE...IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT????
