There is better out there

Pros

The pay was decent enough

Cons

Ghetto Ghetto ghetto, on a very sketchy part of town and the staff there is super unprofessional and rude. The place is extremely basic and dirty. I'm not sure if it was the training or the trainer that was super insufficient. I will say my trainer was late almost every single day of training. How pathetic. Work here only if you're desperate otherwise find a company more reputable and worthwhile.

A bit of a toxic environment

Pros

Good people doing the work. Strong portfolio of BPO businesses with some established leaders in their markets.

Cons

Products and platforms need investment and overhaul to improve quality and efficiency. Leadership is disorganized and not the strongest caliber in all businesses. Company has flip-flopped on strategic initiatives and approach to market twice over the past 2 years. Focus is more on cutting costs through RIFs than on growing top line and improving products and services to win in the marketplace. They cut twice, measure once in knee jerk reaction to short term financial performance without regard to long term impact. This has created a CYA mentality across the company with everyone watching their back. Not a healthy place for building trust with the employees.

Pros

Not much at all..pay was OK compared to elsewhere in town

Cons

Little to no raises given. I was let go after being with the company for 13 amd a half years...with no notice. Severance package is now maxed out at 8 weeks pay and it is tied to "unemploymeny benefit supplementation" which basically translates to them wanting a possible avenue to deny severance. RIFs (reduction in force) firings are common occurrence and tend to happen to those with a considerable amount of tenure. The nepotism in the management structure is unethical and causes conflicts all over the building. The leadership of this company since the changeover from Xerox has shown to be lacking. The future of the company looks bleak at best. There hasn't been any new business brought in like we were promised there would be by now. This place used to be full for 3 shifts. Now it is half full at best on the day shift...less than a dozen 2nd shift employees and less than 6 or 7 third shifters. I wouldn't be surprised if this company collapses within 2 years.
