Pros

The work is interesting and the compensation is on par with the rest of the industry. A lot of the work centers on developing product for US auto manufacturers, so one feels to be making a difference and contributing to the bottom line. The people are generally pleasant to work with and team atmosphere is pervasive.

Cons

Continental has a well deserved reputation for cheapness. Projects are under-resourced and tools to do the job are inadequate. Decisions regarding IT infrastructure seem to be made solely on up-front cost without regard to function. The company grew through large acquisitions and is scrambling to make its debt payments -- massive cost-cutting pervades the company and customers suffer.

Pros

They have many unique projects young engineers could be involved in. People are great to work with. It use to be a good company to with for. .

Cons

Salary are below average. No chance to climb the ladder unless if you're involve with interfacing Germany. Being as an automotive business, it's very unstable to work for now.

Pros

Many opportunities to move around within company. Good pay and benefits. (prior to pay and benefit cuts) Technology innovator.

Cons

Executive Management culture not very diverse. Long hours, very difficult to manage work/life balance. Focus has shifted to move engineering and manufacturing jobs outside of the US. Too much political BS due to several acquisitions.
