      Pros

      Salaries are competitive, and if you can bear the slow paced environment you can have acceptable opportunities.

      Cons

      Employee morale is low, specially in the US where some downsizing is under way. Leadership and company culture is not strong due to multiple acquisitions in the recent past. Slow-paced environment.

      Pros

      The best thing about this job is that I am outside all day long. I also really enjoy all of my customers.

      Cons

      Oh, where shall I begin? The biggest downside is the constant uncertainty of DHL's future here in our wonderful country. We are being told DHL isn't going anywhere, your jobs are ok. Ha!! We have closed many locations already with more to come. It's just a very unpleasant experience right now.

      It's in a turn around situation. Therefore if one is interested in the risks asociated with a financially distressed company, there are a lot of opportunities to contribute. If the company can make a turn around in the US, the parent company, DPWN based in Bonn, Germany will provide a vast global network for a thriving business in the future.

      Cons

      People and functions tend to work in silos. Collaboration is difficult to achieve. DHL grew through acquisition and the integration of very diverse cultures has been very difficult to achieve. Additionally, there has been historical tension with the organized workforce. The new leadership of the company is somewhat mercurial. There actions are dificult to understand and accept at times.
