Pros
You work everyday with sporty, fun people. As a department manager you have lots of responsibility - recruitment, range choice, commercial policy for your department, layout and merchandising of the whole department.
Cons
It is retail so you will work almost every weekend. The pay for shop floor staff is very poor so it is difficult to recruit good quality staff and if you do then it is difficult to hold on to them.
