      It was okay then it got bad

      Pros

      Flexible schedule, lots of time off, not a whole lot of oversight (sometimes, yikes!). Competitive pay, benefits, and bonuses (which ended after I left).

      Cons

      Too many changes, too little oversight of complex legal matters, over-promising and under-performing for clients causes a negative feedback loop for other team members. Management could care less too.

      Pros

      convenience of working from home but this comes at a hefty price

      Cons

      where to start... terrible top management that's publicly abusive on Slack. A lot of shortcuts and incompetence. The product had so many issues at the time that my time had to fill in manually the holes of the product. That meant that we needed to be available at all times. My Christmas holiday was denied so I had to work on Christmas day. My holidays were never approved. There was a layer of middle management that did nothing and micromanaged the hell out of us. Really terrible company that is weeding out bad comments so be careful.

      A product that has some traction.

      Cons

      - Senior management is out of their depth, especially the founders. They're lucky the CEO has a father who has business experience. - Set stupid targets that cause the rest of the team to burn out. - The culture is the most toxic I've ever worked in. This stems from the top.
