Pros

Great coworkers. Good amenities

Cons

They hire tons of people on a contract so that they can dispose of them at any time. Work is very repetitive - somewhat like being on a factory line - with extremely high targets. If you don't meet your case count target - weekly meetings with your team leader are arranged. Management closely monitors every single transaction you make. The system monitors every click you make and you are constantly on a timer. You are basically a machine. Supervisors have favourites and if you are not one of them you'll be treated as such

Pros

Great Co workers, great benefits, pension, good work environment including ergonomics assessments, celebrating different events I.e birthdays. Fun team events

Cons

Micro managing Not much opportunity to go to other departments Can be very repetitive and draining staring onto a computer screen 8 hours a day which they do expect you to be productive that entire 8 hours

I appreciate your comments. Our employees frequently tell us that Economical offers a fun, ambitious, and rewarding work experience, and it sounds like you experienced much of that, too. Our high-performance culture is made up of talented teams from coast to coast, all with different roles, accountabilities, and measures of success (e.g., sales numbers, project delivery milestones, etc.). But everyone needs to find balance in order to stay productive and healthy. If an employee is finding the work day long or their productivity is waning, I hope they’d take advantage of their lunches and breaks. We offer cafeteria and social spaces in several locations, and many offices are close to walking trails and shopping areas, offering opportunities for exercise and diversion. We encourage professional development, volunteering, and participating in health challenges and spirit events at work to keep things fun and inspiring. And be sure to use your paid vacation and personal needs days to stay refreshed and support your work life balance.
