- The Job - Neither the job description or interviews were representative of the actual job. While there are financial aspects to this job, this is primarily a mix of controller/accounting tasks with very little actual financial work. - Career Advancement - I was told it was nearly impossible to move out of the EFA department. In my time there I found this to be true as many of the consulting/advisory managers who work with EFAs look down on the role and see it as a nuisance rather then a value add. - Culture within the EFA department - Very cliquey and if you are not liked by someone you will be penalized when working towards advancement/raises. - Overall Deloitte Culture - Disappointing and cliquey. I had high hopes when I started but its as bad as every other large multinational corporation.
