Many expect junior practitioners to worship them, otherwise your chances of promotion are slim to none Wildly political, pathologically stressful, cut-throat environment. Partners of different divisions are always competing against each other. Many PPDs (Principals/Partners/Directors) do not respond to emails, are often economical with the truth, insincere in their interactions with staff. Promotion is relationship based, not metrics based. The political savvy tend to do very well in this environment, at the expense of the not too political savvy and possibly more deserving
