      Great place to start a career.

      Pros

      Got to work on several projects, met some great people. Provided an excellent environment to learn and grow. As a college graduate, it was a great place to begin my consulting career.

      Cons

      Absolutely no work/life balance, despite the work/life programs and initiatives. During a system go-live, I was dog sick and could barely get out of bed. I call my manager to tell him I wouldn't be able to come in, however, later that morning I got a call from the partner threatening stating that the client was furious and that I needed to be there.

      The opportunities available at Deloittle are endless - depending upon an indiviual's level of commitment and desire to advance in his or her career. Provides for a great experience coming out of college and makes an individual very marketable if considering pursuing alternate career opportunities

      Cons

      The atmosphere is very political and not always fair. A great deal of an individuals success / failure is based on what jobs an individual is assigned to work. Work-life balance is nonexistent, that is if an individual wants to advance

      "Pros" are about Deloitte Consulting as a whole: 1. Open Door Policy 2. Laptop to all employees hence can work from home, if manager permits. 3. Employee friendly salary breakup. 4. Good work environment 5. Highly professional environment

      Cons

      This section is specific to Deloitte India Consulting - SI 1. Very few projects. No .net projects so .net ppl stay away. 2. No process and zero documentation. 3. Requires lot of networking to get promotion.
