      Pros

      Good benefits - health insurance with no deductible, dental and vision plans, legal plan, Nice PTO - 25 days off a year plus 10 holidays, flexbile work arrangement - possibility of working from home, telecommuting, compressed work week, part time, good training programs and sessions held at the best hotels around the United Sates,

      Cons

      low salary considering the amount of hours worked and the time spent studying for CPA Exam, high competition, often time people are not friendly - self centered and focused on their own careers, evaluation process not very clear, favoritism, expectations to be available even during your PTO time.

      Pros

      Deloitte offers good benefits and a lot of flexibility when you need it. The people are also great - for the most part everyone is intelligent, ambitious, and friendly.

      Cons

      Deloitte is a very beaurocratic organization that is slow to react because so many people must be consulted in every decision. The firm is so risk averse that it won't take any steps to be truly innovative, despite many internal campaigns to give the appearance that it is encouraging innovation.

      Pros

      Big4 experience is a plus on your CV. There is some good people there that you can learn a lot from. Fun way to start your career if you are ready to put down the hours.

      Cons

      Lack of respect for lower level employees. Promotions and pay rises not linked to competence or performance. Office politics and your ability to align yourself with the right people is the only thing that will drive your career forward here. There is a significant gap between what senior management says and how strategy is implemented by the lower levels of management. By promoting based on office politics rather than ability there are some truly horrible managers / directors / partners with social skills that makes you wonder if they shouldn't really be committed to an institution.
