Pros

Camaradarie amoung co-workers is fabulous. The ongoing training received is top notch. Travel benefits and various discounts are great perks! Insurance packages are offered for both full and part time employees. Stock options, monthly goal bonuses, and flexable spending credits are great ways to earn and save money.

Cons

Bidding every six months for shifts by seniority may be undesirable for those who need a traditional work schedule. Employees must be available to take shifts that include holidays, weekends, and late night shifts may extend pass end time due to operational needs. Furloughs, Voluntary Leaves, office closures ( reservations etc..) happen quite often because of internal and external financial issues.

Pros

There's really only ONE reason anyone I knew worked here - pass benefits. But even that isn't as good as it use to be because the few seats that seem to be available as of late(you have to travel standby) and the long line of standby passengers waiting (both revenue paying passengers and employees).

Cons

Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this company. Management are a bunch of unethical, incompetent buffoons who are so scared to lose their jobs that they will do anything to make themselves look good on paper to try to impress their bosses in ATL. They regularly harass and even fire the hardest and best workers simply because of personality conflicts, while promoting the laziest, incompetent ones. Most of the best workers have already left this hell hole for better opportunities. And speaking of opportunities- there are none here, unless you consider climbing up a fixed 10yr. pay scale a good career prospect. If I could choose one word to describe my years at DAL, it would be CANCER. Because that's what it felt like while working there and the few subsequent years after. I finally was able to cut this part of my life off of me for good and now am trying to forget my dreaded memories there so I may get on with my life.
