One gets ample opportunity to develop skills in different areas of construction business

Cons

Most of the top managers / decision makers got birth in Descon and will probably retire from here, this limits their international exposure thus keeping them unaware of international norms.

There are many MNC company in world but Descon has more than a job place. It is a place where a new employee can learn and train himself/herself in the field he likes to explore and can become an expert. It is due to company's environment "to work and let work" in my opinion as my experience in 3 years here in Qatar in Barzan Camp. Compensation is ok. Perks I am not satisfied. In terms of promotion it is classified and divided and unheard and unseen by seniors unless you go for it pursuing them.

Cons

In this company work life is wonderful. If you are a hard working employee you will feel to spend most of your hours working. You have social welfare activities in camps and have a good work-life balance. Your overtime are well paid and office culture are excellent to work. I think it is best to be part of Descon Engineering. The only matter is the hard work which is overlooked if you are not relative or well known to seniors.
