Good people, bad system

Pros

Base salary can be low but bonus can be really good. The bank owns large systems and provides copious opportunities to learn and grow. The types of problems a big bank faces are numerous and always challenging.

Cons

Poor hiring practices. Deadlines are everywhere due to regulations. London calls all the shots. If you're not from London, growth potential is limited. US offices are shadowed greatly by the larger hub offices. Employees don't stay long.
