      Terrible Management

      Pros

      They are one of the only banks you can get hired at without 3+ years of experience so I suggest to use them.

      Cons

      All of the management is on a different page. They pick people for promotion based off of image and favoritism. This makes career opportunities very minimal for anyone who isn't your departments star child. Discover loves to hire managers with no experience in the field they are overseeing, so long as they dress nice and fit the image.

      Position Eliminated - Discover has given instructions to existing employees to not provide any LinkedIn recommendations

      Great PTO and cafeteria menu

      Cons

      Position eliminated this past 3 months and wondered why my texts to people in my team and referral requests (on LinkedIn) were met with silence. Appears Discover HR is advising existing employees to not respond to either for fear of employment disciplining. Not sure why they would do this or how it is legal.
