Pros

Gave time off if needed, free coffee, enjoyed my fellow employees, liked the customers, enjoyed the hours i was given (early morning shift)

Cons

Don't listen to you when you bring up issues, bad ethics, manager yelled at customers sometimes, lied about which days we'd all work when he hired us all, treated us poorly

Pros

Fun atmosphere, Very easy to advance, Some free food and drinks. They are slightly less strict than other Dunkin Franchises. Get to know customers and make a lot of friends.

Cons

Notoriously the cheapest and worst-paying dunkin donuts franchise in the boston area. Until the Summer of 2009, the benefit of working for the D'Alelio company was that you could take tips. But then tips got taken away, and absolutely no compensation was offered to employees. On the other hand, Watermark Donuts, another Dunkin Donuts company, pays .50-1.00 higher an hour for each position BECAUSE of the fact that they don't allow tips. Managers get written up for allowing any employee to exceed 40/hrs a week, so all employees are kept at about a 38 hour max. Employees who were lucky enough to get raises then lose hours to the lesser paid because they will hurt the labor percentage.Health insurance is really expensive and out of reach ($60/week when you're making minimum wage??). Quarterly or even bi yearly reviews for employees are rarely carried out and almost never come with a raise. Its very easy to climb the ladder to management as they are desperate for anyone willing to do so. Assistant managers can be paid as low as 9.00/hr, which makes this company great for improving your resume so you can get out of there as fast as you can, even if just to go to another Dunkin Franchise where they will pay you better.

Pros

They have an excellent training program and keep you informed of product changes. Management was also very competent and fair with employees. They pay pretty average. Great place to work as a younger person especially just part time for the summer. Tips were very nice too. Also, all the free food you want on the clock was a huge plus!

Cons

It was pretty busy at my store location. Also, expect to work with a lot of foreigners at the Hampton Beach location. If you aren't very understanding, it can be tough to work with them, but they are good employees in general.
