      Rewarding, but at times very stressful.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits package, fairness, excellent expense program, company car, discount on appliances, contests. Excellent vacation, paid holidays. Allowing to work as a team.

      Cons

      Lack of loyality to employees, no matter how long you were loyal and dedicated to the company. More interested in the salary vs. knowledge and experience. Micromanaged 24/7. Did not listen to feeback, and why the company was not profitable.

      Pros

      Generally, the people at Electrolux are very nice. Of course you will have discontent with some employees and those that can't get along, but it's a very positive atmosphere. The Charlotte office is a very nice campus compared to other companies. I happen to work for one of the better leaders at Electrolux. This leader provides autonomy to get task accomplished and this reason alone is why I like Electrolux. There is also room for a lot of growth and opportunity. There is always a new project to be completed and that means it will be work in the future. I do like the way Jack has come in and shaken things up. Now there seems to be a sense of accountablity. He may not have the experience in this industry but leadership is leadership. He is really implenting change and I believe he is doing a hell of a job considering what he was given.

      Cons

      Senior managment needs to catch up with the times. They need an infussion of new blood. Until this happens. Technology is still operating in the 19th century around here. A major overhaul is needed. People do not share information with other areas. One department makes a decision without consulting with other areas to see if there will be an affect on processes. Senior level management can be isolated at times. They are not really engaging.

      floor care better than major appliances

      floor care business is doing well. airspeed really helped. minick really drove the success of the new products. without him here, not sure how we are going to do it.

      Cons

      major appliances is taking over and that is bad because their game plan is a proven loser. bergstrom is weak.
