Pros

Meaningful mission, great colleagues and sense of belonging. New C-level leaders have been great. Benefits generally OK. Great work-life balance. Diversity and inclusion is taken seriously.

Cons

Opportunities for career development are inconsistent at best. There is toxicity and a culture of fear around some senior leaders.

Pros

Generally the atmosphere in the team is good and collaborative. The technology stack are generally fairly recent, classic Java/Spring/Spark/AWS. Some teams are using Scala. There are more and more teams using kubernetes. Mobility in the company (and also generally in the RELX group) is encouraged and that's a good way to grow. There is a good emphasis on the Employee Resource Groups and inclusion is taken more seriously than in my previous jobs.

Cons

Like everywhere, having a good team/manager makes a huge difference. The company knows it needs to become a 'Tech' organisation but although there had been progress in that direction, it is still not there yet.
