Pros
-The overall package and benefits are good. They make sure everyone is well provided for. no of holidays can be better tho -Great work-life balance -low stress for the workload
Cons
-once you work here, you'll wonder how people get promoted when they basically know nothing (be it technical expertise or leading people) -wasted time in meetings (most of your work is to have coffee chats and attend meetings) -Chaotic!! Adyen disguises this as unstructured work environment but in reality, it just lacks direction -Depends on luck, if you join a team with a competent and skilled manager, youll most likely be fine. Ive seen teams do great when leaders encourage and acknowledge them -office politics in the team that i joined is one of the worst i experienced! HR is non-existent! -flat but not really. your opinions will not matter since the manager has the final say. -overall toxic culture where you can feel everyone is just pretending Advice: if you want a meaningful and challenging work, adyen is probably not for you. but if you're more extroverted, loves talking to people and can pretend to like people all the time, this is the place to do so.
