Pros

You will learn a lot about business if you have no experience. They do a great job of teaching the fundamentals to those just leaving business school. They will also do a good job of setting you up for a future career in sales. You can also meet a lot of great people there that love to have a good time and form networks for the future. I would recommend them to somebody that wants to work hard and get some experience, but dont be afraid to GET OUT.

Cons

Say goodbye to your life. Work life balance is non existent, if you try leaving at 5 you're basically ridiculed by your manager. 7-7 is pretty commonplace, I had days I worked from 7am - 9pm pretty regularly...oh, except Fridays when you are "Permitted" to leave at 5pm. But that's the only day it is acceptable. You will be promised $100k within a yr if you just work hard. There are only a very few that are lucky enough to break that magical number...and then maintain it. Recruiters average about $10 bucks an hr once you factor in the amount of hours you work. They brainwash you into thinking if you leave you will never find another company that is as great as THE MIGHTY AEROTEK, not true at all. Dont be scared to leave.

Pros

Great people, great training, great entry level opportunity to get into recruiting and sales. If you are successful you will make more here than about anywhere else. Performing Recruiters are making $55k-$75k. Great Recruiters are making $100k+. Every large office has salespeople making $200k-$400k. Culture is 100% committed and generally cool type-A's you would want to have a beer with. The skills, drive, and sense of urgency you learn at Aerotek serve you well anywhere you may go later.

Cons

If you are just looking for a low-commitment 8-5 job while posting on social media about where you are partying that night...you will not like Aerotek. Success requires an all in approach both in work ethic and active support of the culture. That is not for everyone. There are Political Science grads 3 years out of college making $200k+, but there is a price to be paid. All the tough work comes first. If you are not up for the level of work and commitment, Aerotek is not for you. If you are, none of this is really a "con" As far a real cons go, the benefits are only OK, and finding work/life balance is pretty difficult.
