Pros
Even on backend teams, your customer impact is more than pretty much anywhere else in the world. You'll learn a lot. You can use whatever technology you want to get it done.
Cons
Culture and Leadership, mostly. Jassy once recommended us "death by meeting". The premises sounded solid so I bought a copy. The thought process throughout was absolutely horrifying. However, the company felt run exactly as how the author would have you run a company.
