Pros
The ability to work 4 10-hour days allows for a 3 day weekend.
Cons
As an intern felt more like "just a pair of hands" rather than feeling as if I contributed to the company. Interns are not typically given a project to complete as with a typical internship. Given very few responsibilities that will push you to grow as a scientist/engineer.
