9yThank you for your feedback! We cannot stress enough that one of the most important aspects of our business is our people. We provide programs and tools to keep employees safe on the job and to enhance their overall health and wellness. We also provide numerous opportunities for dialogue between employees and management and offer training and development opportunities for employees, both union and non-union, and contractors.
We know there is always room for improvement and we take employee feedback seriously. The U.S. steel industry is facing a critical workforce challenge as thousands of skilled workers are needed over the next decade to fill vacancies left by retirements. Consequently, it has become imperative for business and education to partner and build a highly skilled, highly trained technical workforce to support the broader manufacturing economy.
